Conversation AI – Auto Follow-Up (Flow-Based Builder)

What’s New?

Auto Follow-Up is now available as a Flow-Based Builder experience, allowing you to visually configure how Conversation AI re-engages contacts who go inactive, say they’re busy, or request a follow-up later.

This will enable you to restart a stalled conversation from within an existing workflow when a contact stops replying.

This means:

  • You no longer need separate re-engagement workflows
  • You don’t lose context when a contact goes silent mid-flow
  • Conversation AI can pick up exactly where the workflow left off.

Primary Use Case (Most Important)

  • Contact Stops Replying Inside a Workflow

When a contact goes inactive mid-workflow, you can now:

  • Detect the drop-off automatically
  • Schedule follow-up messages directly from the same flow
  • Re-initiate the conversation without restarting or branching to a new workflow
  • Resume the conversation naturally once the contact replies

This turns workflows from fire-and-forget automations into state-aware conversations.
